The Queen has issued a strong warning to newspapers not to publish paparazzi pictures of the royal family.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed Her Majesty sent a private letter to newspaper and magazine editors after becoming infuriated by repeat intrusions.
Her press office said the move was "in response to many years of the royal family being hounded by photographers on the Queen's private property".
No details have been released of the contents of the "private and not for publication" letter, sent by a royal lawyer on the Queen's behalf.
The Sunday Telegraph said the press were warned they will face legal action if the royals are photographed while they are "off duty".
